DynDNS Updater 5.2.1
In other words, the update client automatically checks your network’s IP address and if your IP changes, it will send the new address to your hostname in your Dyn account. As expected, you are required to have a valid Dyn account and an active hostname.
Thanks to DynDNS Updater, you will be able to effortlessly connect to services at home and constantly keep your hostname up-to-date with the latest IP address. The great thing about DynDNS Updater is that it can run in the background and it does not distract you from your work.
By accessing DynDNS Updater’s status bar menu you can show “My Hosts”, access the Preferences window and quit the app. From DynDNS Updater’s main window, you can easily handle multiple hots, check their last update dat and time, IPv4 and IPv6 address and host status.
The bottom toolbar helps your refresh your host list, configure the selected hosts and add or remove hosts from the list. Consequently, you can manually or automatically configure IPv4 and IPv6.
Support for multiple accounts
What is more, DynDNS Updater comes with support for multiple Dyn accounts and it can be configured to automatically start at login. The Preferences slide sheet helps you add or remove accounts, check your current IPv4 and IPv6 address. On top of that, you can bypass proxy server when detecting the IP address and manually refresh your IP.
