Apart from beeing a reliable ftp/http multi-file downloader (25 files at a time), Download Manager's power lies in resuming interrupted downloads.
The first time you launch Download Manager, it creates on the Desktop a folder called DM downloads; files you will download will go into this folder (see also the special topic Download folder).
If you are an experienced Internet-user you don't need so many instructions: write an address into the Address text-field and click the Start! button or drag an Internet-location-file onto Download Manager's icon: in due time (depending on how big is the file you are downloading) you will get your downloaded file in DM downloads folder.
If you still cannot download, you might need a proxy-connection, or the site expects the Allow cookies option to be turned ON.
Tip: Connect to your IPS BEFORE launching Download Manager.
