CloudView NMS For Mac

CloudView NMS is designed to provide efficient tools for visualizing all the devices connected to your network, in order to be able to remotely perform configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting tasks. The service should work with any type of SNMP or TCP/IP device.

The CloudView NMS software package comes with an installer which greatly simplifies the deployment process. Note that by default CloudView NMS is installed in your user folder, not in the Applications directory, and that you will be prompted in case you want to change this location.

Once the procedure is over, navigate to the CloudView NMS installation folder and use the startserver.sh script to launch the app. To be able to actually launch the app you must have root privileges.

CloudView NMS comes with an Admin account that comes with a black password, and you must login to this account to open the app’s user interface. Of course, you will be able to setup a more secure passkey later on.

The CloudView NMS client - server system, offers you the possibility to perform maintenance tasks on multiple workstations at the same time, and is capable to work with various protocols (TL-1 or SNMP, with AES-128 security). Moreover, you have the option to setup email alerts in order to insure the best network performance possible.

CloudView NMS is able to scan you network in order to detect all available devices and offers you the possibility to create an easy to read graphical representation. You can employ the built-in tools to view details about each device, to change its configuration, to establish connections between different workstations, and so on.
