Sharing content seamlessly is more important now than ever before, but the experience is still not straightforward as some would like. Even with dedicated chat and video conferencing services, simply uploading a file to share it with others can be a slow and cumbersome process.

Zight was designed to simplify everything to the best possible extent. You can share files with a simple drag and drop action, and it also lets you create new content by recording and capturing your screen, as well as annotating images.

To share a file, simply drop it onto the app's menu bar icon. It will begin uploading, and then a checkmark will indicate that the file is ready for sharing. The link will be copied to your clipboard, ready to be sent to anyone. The link is also automatically opened in your browser by default, but you can disable this in the app's settings.

From the menu bar, you will be able to find all the files you have uploaded and shared previously. You can add them to collections, mark them as favorites, or just share them again with someone else.

Zight can also speed up the process of capturing and sharing something from your desktop. You can capture a screenshot and upload it automatically, and the app also comes with pretty extensive annotation tools.

Screen recording can be a huge time saver, as you can illustrate something that can't be shown in a screenshot without having to start a videoconference and share your screen. You can capture your screen and webcam, with or microphone input or desktop audio, and the output can be saved as a video or GIF.
