Radium For Mac

Radium is a well-designed and discreet Mac application which can be used to listen to your favorite radio stations.

From Radium’s status bar menu you have access to over 10000 radio stations from different corners of the world, and you also have the option to create a list with your favorite stations.

Moreover, next to the status bar icon, Radium also displays the artist and the title of the currently played song.

Thanks to its minimalist interface and intuitive keyboard shortcuts, you are no longer required to open or switch between app windows to gain control over the radio player.

As you click on the menu bar icon, Radium displays your favorites list and enables you to find a certain radio station by typing its name in the built-in search form.

The Settings slide menu helps you adjust the sound volume, display the station artwork, access the wish list, open the equalizer and manage your subscriptions. You are given the option to add new stations via URL addresses and open the Settings window.

Radium allows you to add various songs to your wish lists or purchase them via iTunes or Amazon with just a couple of mouse clicks. From within the Album Art window, you can copy the Tune-in Link or track info and share the song via Tweeter, Facebook or Last.fm. On top of that, you can visit the station’s webpage.

Radium's built-in equalizer makes it easy for your to adjust the sound or load a preset in order to improve the audio using linear filters. You can amplify the overall sound volume by moving the Preamp slider.

Radium is also capable to scrobble music to Last.fm, display track info via OS X’s Notification center and synchronize via iCloud. You are also allowed to enable or change Radium's pre-defined keyboard shortcuts via the Settings window.
