Weava Highlighter For Mac

Weava Highlighter (formerly GistNote Highlighter) is a Chrome extension designed to help you increase your productivity level while doing research on any subject.

The Weava Highlighter add-on puts all your highlights in the same place, helps you keep track of sources, and enables you to organize them by different criteria.

Right off the bat, you need to install the Weava Highlighter add-on by navigating in the host app to the appropriate Chrome Store entry and pressing the “Add to Chrome” button present on the page.

The next step is to either signup for an account or connect with your Google account to save time. All your highlights are automatically saved in the cloud so you can access them on any machine as long as you have the proper credentials, either by using the Chrome extension or the associated web app.

To start working with the Weava Highlighter add-on all you have to do is select the piece of text you want to highlight and then choose from the pop-up menu the color you want to employ and the collection you want to assign it to.

For your convenience, Weava Highlighter enables you to create a new collection on the spot. The add-on comes with five highlight colors and you can assign text label to each of them in order to make it easier to stay organized.

Via the Weava Highlighter panel, you get to review the list of collections and see all the currently assigned highlights, sort the entries by age, and even run searches within the currently selected group. Note that you can pin the panel to keep it visible at all times.

Weava Highlighter brings to the table streamlined highlighting tools while also being able to store the data together with the source web page or PDF document in the cloud.

To help you stay organized, Weava Highlighter allows you to create multiple collections and use different highlighting colors. You can sort the entries by age or use the built-in search to find particular entries.
