    Chrome add-on that lets you to open links as particular media types via the right-click menu

    Force Media-Type is a Google Chrome add-on that will allow you to open links as particular media (MIME) types via the context menu.

    Specifically, Force Media-Type adds an item to the context menu which enables lets you force a link to open as html or plain text.

    Force Media-Type can be useful when working around annoying web hosts that insist that you download text files that you'd rather view in-browser.

    Force Media-Type is cross-platform and it works on Mac OS X, Windows and Linux.
