Seamlessly integrates with Firefox and SeaMonkey to provide access to IRC servers
Like any other extension developed for Mozilla apps, ChatZilla integrates within the host utility in no time: simply confirm the installation and restart the host app to complete the process.
To stat using the add-on, navigate to the Tools menu and select the ChatZilla option: within the new window, you will be able to connect to new IRC channels and send or read messages.

ChatZilla provides support for popular IRC networks, such as dalnet, efnet, freenode, hispano, ircnet, moxnet, quakenet, and so on. You can also manually add any network or server name and then choose the channel you want to join.
The extension also allows you to change your nickname and status, to change the color theme, to view the timestamp for each message, to automatically collapse consecutive messages, and more. The add-on is also able to log the activity recorded on the connected channels
Further customization options are available via the Preferences window, where you can make adjustments related to the connection process, general appearance, lists, download locations, formatting, and so on.
