Adium is an open source and free instant messaging application for Mac OS X, written using the OS X Cocoa API.
Based on the libpurple protocol library, Adium can connect you to any number of messaging accounts on any combination of supported messaging services (see further down for the list) and then chat with other people using those services.

General:
· Fixed permission issues caused by previous release being built incorrectly.
· Blacklisted the Skype plugin in 1.5, as it's known to be broken.
· Restored LiveJournal connectivity by removing the hard-coded server name, they have an SRV record now.
