AccessibleNews makes the Internet more accessible for blind users.

The AccessibleNews add-on is built upon a technology that smartly understand the layout of the webpages. 

The AccessibleNews add-on adds a new tab menu in your browser. To access the news repository you have to login in your AccessibleNews account.

· Firefox 3.0a1 to 4.2a1pre

· The new version 1.1 for AccessibleNews addon enhances the previous release in the following ways -
· The extraction algorithm has been revised and enhanced a lot to make article identification more accurate.
· We have added the new functionality to add Accessible Tags to an web-page so that a page can be easily navigated using a screen reader.
· To support the above features key board shortcuts has been changed.
· To extract the content use - Alt + X
· To add Accessible Tags use - Alt + A
· While feature 1 shows remarkable extraction accuracy on pages with content, feature 2 makes portals and their homepages more navigable and accessible for visually impaired and blinds using a screen reader.
· Moreover, the new add-on has been has been enhanced to work with most latest release of Firefox so that you can continue to enjoy the unmatched browsing experience.
