HTTP Client is a simple application designed to help developers quickly debug HTML services through an intuitive graphical user interface. The app is able to analyze complex HTTP messages and then create a color coded graphical representation.
HTTP Client comes with Keychain integration and provides support for basic HTTP authentication. You will be able to use the following HTTP methods: CONNECT, GET, TRACE, DELETE, HEAD, POST, PUT and OPTIONS.
HTTP Client will display the headers of custom HTTP requests, such as popular User-Agent strings and date format strings that have previously assigned values and names. The information can be exported to a .httpclient file format. As a result, you can choose to analyze the data at a later time.
Additional HTTP Client options include the possibility to ignore or follow redirects or to send requests by using the PUT and POST HTML methods. Via the Preferences window you can personalize the syntax highlighting colors or you can toggle the text wrap function.
To sum up, HTTP Client is a simple application that comes with a collection of basic HTML debugging tools and a syntax highlighting pattern designed to make the code analysis faster and easier.
