ColorTagGen For Mac

ColorTagGen is a simple yet very useful OS X application if you’re a designer or web developer. It was created from scratch with one single goal in mind: to help you quickly and effortlessly copy the HTML and CSS code of a color to your Mac’s clipboard.

Moreover, once you open ColorTagGen, it allows you to select any color you want using OS X’s built-in Color Inspector tool.

Once you click the color, ColorTagGen will automatically display the RGB values and will allow you to choose which encoding you want it to use for generating the color codes.

ColorTagGen will also display the color’s name (if available) and if it is a websafe color, via its “Color Info” panel. To copy the color code you just need to click the “Copy HTML” button and it will be automatically sent to your computer’s pasteboard.

Although it doesn’t offer any more tools or features, ColorTagGen does everything it was meant to do impeccably, as I have not witnessed any kind of errors while using it.

Even though ColorTagGen is meant to be a simple and quite run-of-the-mill app, it manages to make your work a lot easier when you’re having to juggle with incalculable amounts of HTML and CSS based color codes each day.

Hence, using ColorTagGen while working on your graphics or web design projects will make your workflow a lot simpler and your projects a lot less time consuming.
