Resize! is a simple program designed to resize a folder of pictures in one step. It's faster and easier to use than generic graphic programs... and it's free!

When you start the program the first thing you have to do is to select the folder where are the pictures you to modify: use the Select button. After that set the parameters for resizing and exportation; and finally use the "Go" button to launch

There are three resizing modes: proportional resizing, box resizing and independent resizing.

Proportional resizing is the simplest mode, and should be the most frequently used. It always preserve the proportions (height/width ratio) of pictures.

Box resizing in this mode, you specify the height and width of a "box", and Resize! will resize the pictures so that they fit in it, without changing their proportions (height/width ratio).

The last one, independent resizing is the only mode that does not respect a picture's proportions; height and width are treated separately.
