iPanorama for Mac
Creating beautiful panorama images is not very complicated if you are using a good image stitcher. iPanorama is a small application designed to provide basic tools and capabilities that will help you create your own panoramas.
iPanorama comes with a very simple and straightforward interface: the main window is separated in two different panes, one for browsing the image library and the other for previewing the pictures in thumbnail mode.
The application can browse your entire disk content, but will also provide shortcuts to your favorite locations and can browse your Aperture and iPhoto library (photos, last import, last 12 months and flagged).
To get started, select the files you want to stitch together and then press the “Create” button located in the bottom right corner of the main iPanorama window. The utility will process the data and then allows you to preview the result.
iPanorama displays the size of the resulting image in pixels and enables you to analyze the result using a selection tool and zoom in or zoom out options. Moreover, the app comes with cropping capabilities that can be accessed via the bottom right corner of the Preview window.
Noteworthy is that iPanorama is able to handle multiple panorama styles, such as horizontal, vertical, 360 and tile.
To sum up, if you are looking for a simple solution for stitching images without having to deal with complex tools, iPanorama might prove to be a great addition to your software collection.
