Although iPhoto is simple to use and quite low-cost, there are other photo viewing apps on the market that are worth looking into. iPhotomator is one such app that provides a time-efficient way to browse and view photos. The app automatically displays the photos in a folder after clicking on it, provides a slideshow function and a flexible view mode.

The application is designed in such a way that users will invest minimum effort to access pictures located in different folders. From the main window, you can access your Mac’s file system as a tree (in a left sidebar) and the pictures from a selected folder in the central pane.
