Watermark Plus is a streamlined Mac app that offers you the possibility to quickly apply text or image watermarks to multiple pictures at the same time, while resizing and converting the file to a file format of your choice.

To get started with Watermark Plus, you must import the images you want to process by dragging and dropping them on top of the app’s main window. Of course, you can also use the built in Finder menu. The app is able to handle popular image formats, such as JPEG, PNG, BMP, TIFF, and more.

Within the app’s main window you will be able to view thumbnails for all imported images and quickly apply text or image watermarks by using buttons placed in the top window toolbar.

When dealing with text watermarks, you can choose to integrate various info stamps containing special characters, or details about the file name, creation date, and specific EXIF parameters. If you decide to switch to Script mode, you will be able to cover your entire image with text tags.

Watermark Plus comes with a collection of predefined text and image watermark profiles, but also gives you the possibility to create your own. As a result, you will be able to apply frequently used watermarks to your images with a simple mouse click. What's more, you can easily group multiple watermarks together to make sure their position toward each other remains unchanged.

Watermark Plus also enables you to apply various resizing rules, while offering you the possibility to export the results by using the JPG, TIFF, PNG, or BMP file formats. The same area includes tools that will help you rename the output files so that you will be able to distinguish them easily.

However, keep in mind that Watermark Plus requires a large amount of resources during the conversion: on a 2GHz Intel Core Duo iMac with 6GB RAM, the app used up to 2GB RAM and around 80%CPU power while processing 115 image files of assorted sizes. The process was successful only on the second attempt, so make sure to check if everything went smoothly.

Watermark Plus enables you to quickly apply text or image watermarks to your photos collection without having to make complicated adjustments. The app provides support for most popular image formats, can handle multiple files at the same time, and offers you the possibility to rename or resize the output files. The drawback is that Watermark Plus will take up a big chunk of your resources, and might even interfere with your Mac’s performance.
