A simple and useful Python application shat enables you to quickly and easily convert between different graphics formats with just a few keystrokes
It is worth mentioning that you need to have Python installed on your Mac and administrator privileges in order to successfully install and use UniConvertor.
UniConvertor is based on the Sk1 object model that enables it to quickly convert from one of the supported file formats to the desired format. To install UniConvertor on your Mac you have to open a Terminal window, browse to UniConvertor’s directory and run the following command line: sudo python setup.py install
When running the uniconvertor command line tool from a terminal window without arguments, you will be abel to view the usage message. Additionally, you can view the list with all supported input and output file formats.
UniConvertor comes with support for the following input formats: AI - Adobe Illustrator, CDR - CorelDRAW Graphics, CDT - CorelDraw templates, CCX - Corel Compressed Exchange, CMX - Corel Presentation Exchange, SVG - Scalable Vector Graphics, FIG - XFig, CGM - Computer Graphics Metafile, AFF - Draw files, WMF - Windows Metafile, SK - Sketch/Skencil files, SK - sK1 vector graphics files, PLT - HPGL for cutting plotter files, DXF -Autocad Drawing Exchange format, DST / PCS - Design format, PES / EXP - Embroidery file format.
You can also convert all aforementioned file formats to the following output formats: AI, SVG, CGM, WMF, SK, SK1, PDF, PS and PLT.
