editor's review

Templates for Numbers is a Mac OS X utility that includes a comprehensive collection of templates for iWork ’09 Numbers. It extends the built-in collection of Apple’s popular spreadsheet creator with 125 varied templates designed for numerous purposes.

The application features a basic user interface similar to that of the “Choose a Template” window of Numbers. However, templates in this application are not organized by category. Also, they are displayed as thumbnails, making it easier to learn the purpose of each.

Furthermore, the quality of each template rivals to that of Numbers’ itself. You can use these templates to do a lot of things, such as managing college budgets, analyze problems with Pareto chart, manage personal conferences, plan retirement savings, sort your work tools, manage job searches, schedule assignments or manage project costs.

Thus, the templates included in the application help you tackle day-to-day tasks at school, work or home. Templates are carefully designed and usually do not require any modification, besides entering content, of course. However, you have the freedom to change them as you see fit.

For instance, you can insert new or extra tables, images, diagrams or illustrations, make calculations and more. In addition to this, templates are available in both international paper size and US paper size.

To sum up, Templates for Numbers is a self-explanatory OS X application that comes with 125 professionally designed templates for Numbers. They can help you with serious work, home plans or with anything that needs managed.
