Stellar Image Converter for Mac
Optimizing your images for various platforms is necessary if you want to use the best display mode at all times. Stellar Image Converter is a Mac app that offers you the possibility to browse folders, preview images, and then convert them to popular image file formats.
Browse image folders in a streamlined manner
Stellar Image Converter comes with an organized user interface and automatically scans folders for images. All you have to do next is to find the image that you want to process and press the “Convert” button placed on the top toolbar.
Note that Stellar Image Converter also comes with QuickView support: select the image you want to preview, press the QuickView button placed in the top toolbar, and the app will automatically open a new window containing your image. This is useful if you are browsing the folder contents in list mode (the Cover Flow visualization mode provides thumbnails).
Process over 30 popular image formats
While scanning your folders, Stellar Image Converter is able to recognize more than 30 different image file formats, such as JPEG, PSD, PNG, GIF, TIFF, BMP, and much more. Visualizing them is quite easy because the app’s main window is separated in two main areas: on the left you can view a list of places and devices, while on the right you can preview their content.
Unsophisticated solution for converting your photos to various image formats
Stellar Image Converter offers you the possibility to select one of the 14 output formats for converting your files, and enables you to set up an output location. At the same time, you can also choose to place the converted photos in the source directory.
Stellar Image Converter can be used to generate BMP, JPEG, JP2, PSD, PNG, TIFF, PICT, PDF, TGA, GIF, ICNS, PPM, XPM, or XBM files. However, while converting, you do not have the opportunity to resize the source images, or alter the results in any other way.
