Save Pasted Images is a simple to use Adobe InDesign script that will help one "unpaste" pasted images (i.e. images without a link in the Links panel).
The Save Pasted Images script writes all pasted images in a document to disk and optionally creates links.
The images are saved to a folder /images, which the script creates under the document's folder (if it doesn't exist). All "unpasted" images are stored using the document's name followed by _unembedded_ followed by a sequential number.
Installation: Open the "Window > Utilities > Scripts" panel in InDesign (you can also use the ⌥+⌘+F11 shortcut), select the "User" folder, select "Reveal in Finder" from the drop-down menu on the top right side. Copy the Save Pasted Images script to the "Scripts Panel" folder in the opened window.
