RawDigger is an OS X application designed to make it simple to view, study and analyze RAW image files.

These files can be taken from digital photo cameras as well as digital video cameras. In essence, RawDigger is a microscope of sorts that lets you drill down into raw data.

Moreover, RawDigger doesn’t alter the raw data in any way. RawDigger is not a raw convertor. Instead, it allows you to see the data that will be used by raw convertors.

Furthermore, RawDigger supports nearly all cameras that have raw capability. Support for new cameras is usually implemented within few weeks after raw samples become available.

Main features:

  • View the original image
  • Plot data histograms for any image
  • Calculate image statistics
  • Save compression curves
