Sending postcards from different parts of the world to our friends and family or co-workers is nice thing to do and has become part of your digital life as well.

PostCard is a simple and very easy to use application that promises to help you create personalized digital postcards with just a few mouse clicks and keystrokes. You can download and install PostCard via the Mac App Store in no time thanks to the small size of the app.

PostCard features a minimalist and user-oriented interface from which you can quickly and effortlessly add a photo or image in the left panel of the application. You can place the picture anywhere within the picture area and zoom in or out by using your mouse’ scroll or the predefined gestures on your trackpad.

Thanks to PostCard’s ability to automatically detect your location the postcard stamp image will be replaced with a postmarked featuring the current date and city from which you are sending the mail.

You can add a title on the bottom of the picture and adjust the size and shape of the postcard by simply dragging the corners of PostCard’s main window. Under the postmark you can type your greeting or message and sign it.

By accessing the Format menu, you can change the font and style, increase or decrease the size of the message and change the color, kern, baseline and ligature of the text. What is more, the “Text” sub-menu helps you align the text to the left, right or center by using the keyboard shortcuts. When your postcard is finished you can copy it to your Mac’s Pasteboard or save it as JPG image files.
