PixelController is a generic open-source (LED) matrix control JAVA project that you can use to control all those little PixelInvaders.
PixelController is written using JAVA and the frontend is written as PureData patch. The nice part about PureData is, you can control it by mouse/keyboard, OSC or Midi.Detailed instructions on how to install and use the PixelController utility on your Mac are available HERE.

What's new in PixelController 2.1.0 RC 1:
- Add client/server architecture. PixelController can started headless on a server, connect to the server with the client GUI (same look as the standalone version)
- Add RaspberryPi WS2801 output driver

- Add Bonjour/Zeroconf support, PixelController register itself as "pixelcontroller.local"
