The sidebar offers instant access to the marker tools that you can use to make a precise clipping path, which can be further refined and adjusted using fine brushes.

The “Mark Foreground” tool allows you to mark the areas you would like to preserve while the “Mark Background” tool helps you mark the areas you want to cut out.

The great thing about PhotoScissors, is that you don’t have to accurately enclose a specific region using tools like Lasso or Magic Wand. PhotoScissors is capable to analyze and refine the clipping edges, fact that enables you to remove the background or cut out an item with minimum effort.

You can set a transparent background for the loaded picture or change the background picture using a color from the Colors Palette. The top toolbar helps undo or redo your last move, zoom in or out and adjust the markers size.

When you are happy with your selection you can process the photo and preview the result in the right panel. If you are not happy with the result you can decrease the marker size and make fine adjustments, and re-process the photo until you are happy with the output picture.
