PhotoScape X For Mac

PhotoScape X is a straightforward photo viewer and image editor that helps you preview, edit and process images from within a clean and intuitive interface.

PhotoScape X comes with a series of themes that you can check and apply via the Theme window that is easily accessible from PhotoScape X’s main window. Once you are happy with your selected theme you can move one to more important features and tools.

The great thing about this app is that you can use the top toolbar to access and use the desire tool or feature. Thus, you can use the Viewer to browse and preview pictures, the Editor to modify them, the Batch feature to process multiple images at the same time, the Combine tools to stitch pictures together and the Create GIF to generate animate GIFS.

PhotoScape X makes everything plain and simple even for the most inexperienced user. The Viewer tab helps you browse your Mac’s hard disk for pictures and create a Favorites list with directories containing images.

Thanks to the built-in Editor you can rotate, straighten, resize and crop your pictures, adjust the contrast and the color balance, add borders and more. You can also add various effects, enhance the sharpness or blur, add vignetting and correct white balance.

What is more, PhotoScape X allows you to add images or text boxes inside a picture or draw using customizable brushes. Hence, you can brighten, deepen, darken or blur only certain parts of the photo.

By accessing the Batch tab, you can process a large number of pictures with just a few mouse clicks. You can batch resize or edit multiple pictures, add different effects and predefined filters with ease. You can create photo collages with your favorite photos, add borders and margins according to your preferences.

If you like animated GIFs, you’ll be happy that PhotoScape X enables you to edit and create GIFs using a series of pictures. You can adjust the length and size of the animation and use various effects.
