NF Image Converter For Mac

NF Image Converter is a minimalist Mac OS X application that offers you the possibility to rename and scale images. NF Image Converter can be used to convert image files to various file formats, such as JPEG, JPEG2, TIFF, PICT, PNG, BMP, or PSD.

Even though the NF Image Converter application is no longer under development and does not run properly on Mac OS X Yosemite, the utility can still be used on older systems, such as OS X 10.6.

At the same time, note that NF Image Converter is essentially a droplet app: to view its interface, you must drag and drop the files you want to process on top of its Dock icon. NF Image Converter will then open the containing folder in a Finder window to help you monitor the results.

Noteworthy is that NF Image Converter makes the changes on the original files, replacing them with the output images: backing up your data before using the app is highly advisable.

The NF Image Converter user interface is represented by a small panel where you must select the task you want to perform. Right off the bat, you can change the files name using a batched filename, or by manually editing individual files. Moreover, you can also choose between adding prefixes and adding suffixes.

The next step is to decide if you want to change the image size: in the Image Editor Panel, you can select the scaling factor, or you can define the output image size. Last but not least, NF Image Converter enables you to quickly convert your files between popular image file formats.

The NF Image Converter proves to be fairly easy to use, even if at first sight its usage is not very intuitive. If you have any questions, the ReadMe file included in the software archive is the only available documentation.
