MCAnimator For Mac

Designed for Minecraft hardcore fans that want to take the action into their own hands and build mods, The MCAnimator is a powerful and comprehensive application that provides you with a suitable environment and all the needed tools for creating models similar to those in Minecraft, only with better animations and textures.

Apart from Java (if you do not already have it installed on your Mac) the MCAnimator applications doesn’t require any special sort of installation.

In order to get started with MCAnimator, you will need to either import and already existing Techne model project, import a “.mca” previous project, or simply create your  own new project.

Getting to grips with MCAnimator, despite its non-native interface, is done fairly quickly since it features an intuitive layout and easy to work with controls.

In order to create your new model, it is recommended that you follow the suggested building order: you must create the body of the model with the help of the already famous Minecraft cubes, adjust or customize the TextureMaps and paint the Texture, animate your model, and, finally, export your final result for further Minecraft mod implementation.

Once you finished designing and you are happy with your model, you can export the project as model only, as animation only, as MCA library only, as well as for creature/mob/animal or non-living entity usage.
