Lyn For Mac

Lyn is a straightforward Mac application that provides the required tools to preview your photo collection, adjust and edit pictures before sharing them with your friends and family via various social networking websites and image sharing pages.

From Lyn’s main window, you can quickly gain access to different folders on your Mac’s hard disk, open their content, view pictures and even play videos.

Lyn seamlessly integrates the geotagging technology, as well as a simple and intuitive video player and basic image adjustment and editing tools for your photos.

On top of that, Lyn comes with support for most popular image formats like PNG, JPEG, TIFF, RAW, JPEG 2000, PPM, OpenEXR and even animated GIFs. Unfortunately, the built-in video player offers support only for a limited number of video formats.

The top toolbar helps you change the view mode, filter the displayed items with the help of the built-in search form and share your pictures via Email, Facebook, Picasa, 500px, Dropbox and SmugSmug.

You can also start a full-screen slideshow and view all the photos stored within the currently selected folder.

Thanks to the left sidebar, you can browse your Mac’s hard disk for folders and libraries containing multimedia files. You can even explore your Aperture, iPhoto and Lightroom libraries and view your pictures on a map, based on the geotagging information.

With the help of Lyn's Editing Inspector window, you can edit and enhance your pictures by adjusting their exposure, brightness, contrast, color temperature and shadows.

Moreover, the Lyn application also makes it possible to help you try all sorts of filters, tones and vignette borders until you obtain the exact results you want.
