iDraw is a user friendly drawing application that can be used to create professional vector designs and illustrations. Since the iDraw developers also provide a companion app for the iPad (it has to be purchased separately), you will be able to work on your projects even when you are on the go.

Vector drawing OS X utility featuring a well organized design

Even though iDraw packs a collection of quite powerful design tools, finding your way around is quite intuitive: the main area is reserved for the drawing canvas, while most tools are accessible through the side bars. Thanks to the app’s tab interface, you get to switch between various documents with a simple mouse click.

Furthermore, iDraw comes with new document templates that will help you get started in no time. Note that iDraw packs all the tools necessary to create vector illustrations, such as brushes, pencils, Bezier Pen, or various geometrical figures.

However, besides the basic functionalities, iDraw also packs a shapes library, various appearance styles, the possibility to integrate multi styled text into your project, image masks, color pickers (RGB, HSB, and HEX), the possibility to snap to grid, and so on. Additionally, iDraw allows you to work with layers, and with groups of objects.

Create high quality vector illustrations that can be included in other projects

iDraw works well with other design applications, which means that you can quickly send your drawings to Keynote or iBooks Author to be integrated into your presentations. This is possible because iDraw can work with SVG, PDF, EPS, or PSD files, and can export your own projects to the same formats, and to other additional file types (PNG, JPEG, GIF, or TIFF).

To conclude, iDraw is an easy to use vector drawing utility that enables you to work on your projects on your Mac or on the iPad, and plays well with other graphic editors. Moreover, the plethora of drawing and image processing tools that come packed in iDraw enable you to deal with both artistic and more technical projects.
