Pixy For Mac

Pixy is a photo management application for OS X that provides a stylish and well-organized environment for dealing with large image collections.

On first launch, Pixy automatically detects all the images stored on your device and allows you to choose the folder structure mode. This way, you will be able to instantly see all the image files included in a certain folder.

Within the Pixy’s main window, you will be able to see thumbnails of all included images, together with the associated metadata information.

To help you find certain photos faster, Pixy includes multiple sorting options: by keyword, by ratings, by pixels, or by size.

Pixy comes with a well organized and quite user-friendly interface: the left side panel, which can be hidden, includes the list of detected folders, the center area displays the photo thumbnails, while an additional pane on the right side shows the histogram and the metadata information for the currently selected file.

Moreover, the multiple selection tool enables you to work with multiple images at the same time without having to rely on the default OS X selection tools.

As a result, you will be able to move images to different folders in no time, or simply delete the ones you do not need anymore.

Of course, Pixy also integrates a slideshow mode that can be used to view the photos on a larger scale. For your convenience, Pixy comes with native support for full-screen mode.

Noteworthy is that Pixy manages to scan your device for new photos quite fast, and the navigation process is very smooth. Make sure to rescan the drive periodically to view the latest images.
