ImageSize is a simple to use macOS application created from the ground up with a single purpose in mind: to help you batch resize, rename and convert collections of thousands of pictures in a snap.

The ImageSize utility allows you to add images to the conversion list with the help of the "Add Images" button at the top left side of the main screen and by drag and dropping files from anywhere on your Mac.

Unfortunately, even though it does allow you to drag and drop images on to its dock icon, ImageSize will throw out error after error for each of the image files in your selection.

Moreover, ImageSize does not come with support for adding images via the contextual menu, which could be considered a downside by users who are used to manage their files this way.

Once you're finished adding photos to ImageSize's file list, you can customize the resizing options via the Resize tab on the right side of the window.

Here you can choose to resize your collection of images by selecting a custom width and height combination, in pixels and percents, with the option to enable the "Keep Aspect" and "Width is the largest dimension options".

ImageSize also allows you to choose a fixed width, fixed height, or fixed width and height combination for the output images.

While choosing the resize rules, you can also use the left sidebar to view the original dimensions, the output dimensions and a small preview of the currently selected image in the file list.

On ImageSize's Output tab, you are allowed to pick a custom output folder for the processed images and to enter a custom rename pattern if you also need to batch change the name for all added pictures.

Via the Output tab, you can also choose the output image format for the files added within ImageSize's resize list, as well the quality level of the resulting photos.

It is also worth mentioning that ImageSize also comes with a built-in feature designed to keep your images' creation dates and EXIF information untouched, a must have for photo professionals who process vast collections of photographs regularly.

The ImageSize utility also supports saving settings profiles, a simple way of re-using your settings between sessions and for specific types of photo sets.

All things considered, ImageSize worked flawlessly throughout our tests, and it definitely delivered on its promises of speed and ease of use.

If you've wasted tremendous amounts of time resizing, converting and renaming large sets of photos, installing ImageSize will help you boost your productivity, and get your work done in a fraction of the time you would previously need.
