Watermarking image files is a common practice if you want to protect your photos or graphic projects. Image Commander is designed to help you process multiple photos at the same time in order to reduce the editing time.

The application’s interface is separated in three main areas: the image library (contains all the photos that will be processed), the image editing zone (here you can crop, rotate or zoom in/out the currently selected photo) and the Styles and Watermarks panels (in these sections you can customize the watermark and add effects to your pictures).

The top Image Commander toolbar provides quick access to some of the most frequently used functions: import files and folders, remove (the currently select image), clear (the whole list) and generate (launches the watermarking process). Moreover, the Manual button launches the Image Commander online documentation in your default web browser.

Image Commander enables you to personalize your photos by adding masks, shapes or different effects (bevel, shadow, glow or reflection). At the same time, you can resize the image by specifying the width or height.

When it comes to watermarking, Image Commander enables you to use both image and text stamps. You can create your own text watermarks by adding custom text strings and then decide where you want place them. The application also allows you to add special symbols or specific data, such as the date stamp and more.

Last but not least, Image Commander comes with a collection of image watermarks which you can use for your own projects, but you can also easily import other signs or logos.

However, the Image Commander tools do not function properly in the Image Commander version published in the Apple Store (1.85 ). The demo version provided on the developer’s website (Image Commander 1.80) has fewer issues and you can download on your own to check if it meets your standards.
