ImaPic For Mac

ImaPic is a straightforward and lightweight OS X app that makes it as easy as possible for you to crop, resize, convert, compress and chance the orientation of your images directly from the menu bar.

This said, you only need to drag and drop the picture from the Finder onto ImaPic’s status bar item and almost instantly, you will be greeted by a floating semi-transparent photo editing window.

Within the floating window,  you can use the buttons placed on both sides of your loaded picture to change your picture’s orientation, change your picture’s proportions, or use an interactive cropping tool to give your photo a suitable framing.

After you are satisfied with the modifications, you can easily use the “Save” button or the “CMD + S”  hotkey to save your photo or, by clicking the button from the upper right, you can share your images via email, Twitter, Facebook, Flickr, or even Apple’s native AirDrop and Messages apps.

There are two more switches available on ImaPic’s minimalist interface, and with their help, you can setup the application use your pic’s source folder as a save destination or to disable the cropping tool with its affiliated virtual frame.

Also, by clicking ImaPic’s status bar item, you can setup the app to launch at system login or to close its editing window after you have saved your picture.
