Icon Converter quickly installs 4 different Automator actions into your system in order to help you generate PNG or ICNS icons for your Mac apps, or for iOS or Apple Watch utilities.

The Icon Converter software package comes with an installer that creates a separate folder in your Applications directory, and you can find all the new Automator workflows there. The same location includes a detailed user guide and an uninstaller that can remove the workflows from your computer.

Moreover, the Icon Converter actions will also be integrated into your Finder’s Services, which means that you can quickly access their capabilities via the Finder contextual menu. Otherwise, you must drag and drop the images you want to process on top of the respective Automator action.

The Icon Converter Automator actions have quite self-explanatory names: one can create iOS icons, number two and three can generate PNG or JPG icons for OS X apps, while number four creates icons for Apple Watch utilities.

The only rule you must abide is related to the size of the source image, which has to be 1024*1024px. The Automator workflows will generate icons of all required standard sizes, and you will be able to find them in a newly created folder placed on your desktop.

Like with any other Automator action, you can monitor their progress via a small menu located in your status bar.
