Reduce the size of PNG, ICNS, TIFF and Iconset images in order to optimize your software projects, the load time for your website, and so on. #Image optimizer #ICNS shrinker #ICNS optimizer #Optimizer #Shrinker #Optimize
The size of your image files directly influences the dimension of your software archives or the loading time of your website. ICNSmini is a small app that can optimize certain image files in order to help you provide a better user experience.
Depending on the file type, ICNSmini will either remove unnecessary elements or use different compression methods. In both cases, the dimension of the output file is smaller, so fewer resources are required when working with them.
ICNSmini handles the procedure on its own, but in the Preferences window you get to specify if you want elements stripped from ICNS images and how invasive should the procedure be (light or maximum).
The same area allows you to decide if you want to strip the metadata information from TIFF files. Otherwise, ICNSmini has very few customization options: you cannot change the output folder, but the app can automatically open the directory in a Finder window for your convenience.
Moreover, ICNSmini can play an alert sound to let you know the process is complete, and you get to select the audio effect that should be used by default.
To start working with the ICNSmini application, just drag and drop the files you want to process on top of the app’s main window. You get to monitor the progress in real time and see if the file size has been reduced.
Moreover, ICNSmini creates a graph that compares the amount of storage space required by the source and output image file. It provides statistical data about how much space has been saved.
Last but not least, ICNSmini integrates batch processing capabilities: the utility will make all the necessary adjustments on its own, and you will receive an audio alert when the procedure is complete.
