When working with large numbers of images, filtering out specific files can be very time-consuming. There may be dozens of unwanted attributes you need to scan for, and Finder doesn’t provide a way to look for all of these, and definitely not efficiently.

Graphic Inspector should be very useful as part of this workflow. It lets you load multiple images and define specific attributes that should be filtered out. The app will scan for them and highlight all files that require your attention.

The app comes with a built-in explorer that allows you to navigate to a specific location. You can also just drop a folder directly in the main window, and directories can be favorited for quicker access.

Once your images have been loaded, you can select any of the created checkup presets and scan the files. If any match the conditions you have set up, they will be highlighted in the main panel, and you can click them to view more details on the right.

Graphic Inspector works with both images and vector graphic files, and you can configure multiple checkup presets for each potential scenario, then apply them as needed.

Among other things, you can analyze files by type, file size, dimensions, bit depth, color mode, ICC profile, and any type of information stored as metadata. Complex rules can be set up to identify images that fall within a specific range.

Graphic Inspector is easy to use, and the freedom you have when configuring checkup presets allows it to be used by literally anyone. If you need to find images that have certain attributes among a large collection of files, it will make the job a lot easier.
