Geophoto 2.4.1

With Geophoto you can now browse your photo albums by location, easily finding the pictures you've taken in a particular place, during a particular trip.

Geophoto will help you orbit around the Earth to view all the countries you have visited, or zoom into a city for the view of the pictures you've taken at home, or at your friends' places.

And you can share your photos as well, allowing your friends to zoom across the planet and see where your pictures were taken and how far you've traveled.

You can add pictures to Geophoto's library with a single click: from iPhoto albums, from Aperture, even directly from the Internet - you'll soon be creating scrapbooks of photos, pinned to places on the Earth, that you can collect or show your family and friends.

Using Geophoto, you can also fly through the pictures taken by a vast community of people around the globe, who share them through Photocasts or on Flickr: the "geotagged" photos that contain location information will automatically appear in the correct spot on the Earth.

Geophoto's speed, detailed images and ease of use make it the perfect companion to iPhoto and Flickr.

Geophoto is a wonderful tool even if you're not a traveler or a photographer. You'll be able to discover faraway places through pictures taken by Flickr users, or simply organize the photos with your friends by pinning them to their neighborhoods.

But also professional photographers will find it invaluable: finding that photo taken during a photo safari in Africa is as easy as zooming onto the Serengeti park - and Geophoto knows exactly where it is, thanks to an exhaustive database of cities and landmarks.

Coordinates and IPTC tags:
· Geophoto makes it extremely easy to browse your photos and examine their location in detail. Its Inspector shows the coordinates of your photos as well as an indication of nearby cities. Geophoto shows the city and country for each picture, by reading the IPTC tags in the file. It can even update them and keep them in sync, automatically, whenever you change a photo's location.

A detailed map:
· When you need street-level detail for precisely geotagging your shots, Geophoto's Map view is an essential tool. You can reposition photos very easily by dragging the markers on the map, too. Geophoto integrates seamlessly with Google Maps to provide you with high-quality imagery - whether in map, satellite or terrain view.

Your GPS device is your camera's new best friend:
· One of Geophoto's key features is its ability to automatically position your photos in the exact location where they were taken. It does this by matching the timestamps in the pictures with the path recorded by your GPS. This makes it extremely easy - and fast! - to geotag your photos as soon as you're back from your hike, your short trip, or your long vacation.
· Geophoto's matching feature works by reading GPS log files saved to your Mac, or by connecting directly to select handheld GPS units (Garmin, Magellan and Wintec).

Requirements:

· Graphics card with at least 64 MB of VRAM.

Limitations:

· You cannot save your photo library.
· Limitation of 50 items.
