EXIF Viewer for Mac2.7
EXIF Viewer is an unsophisticated Mac app that can be used to view the EXIF information that is embedded in JPG or THM files without too much trouble. The utility comes with a minimalist design and proves to be extremely easy to use.
User friendly EXIF viewer featuring a clean and organized design
Upon launch, you will be able to see only the EXIF Viewer status bar menus: you must start by manually directing the utility to the file you want to analyze. Note that EXIF Viewer does not provide support for drag and drop actions, which means that going through the app’s File menu is mandatory.
At the same time, take into consideration that it can display relevant information only for images transferred from digital cameras: if no EXIF info is available, you will only see the image thumbnail, while the top area will remain blank.
Effortlessly view the EXIF data for JPG and THM files
EXIF Viewer opens a new window for each image file, and you will be able to see the EXIF information in the top area of the panel. For your convenience, the bottom half will display the source image thumbnail.
The software is using the exiftags project for reading the EXIF data and allows you to see the file size and name, and the EXIF summary. In addition, you can see details about camera (equipment maker, camera model, camera software, maximum lens aperture) or image (image orientation, resolution, exposure time, focal length, color space, rendering, and more) specific properties.
Straightforward software solution for viewing your image’s EXIF data
Thank’s to it’s uncomplicated design, using EXIF Viewer to analyze the EXIF information embedded into your photos is extremely simple. However, keep in mind that the software project is no longer under development, even though it still runs on the latest OS X releases (Yosemite).
