Pixfeed (formerly Droool) For Mac

Droool is a streamlined Mac app designed to help you browse the image collections associated with your social accounts by using the same user interface. The app offers support for Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, Tumblr, and Dribbble accounts, but also works with RSS feeds.

Finding your way around the Droool main window is fairly intuitive: the main area is reserved for displaying the image libraries, while from a left sided panel you can switch between different social accounts. Naturally, the first step is to authorize the Droool app so that it can manage your accounts.

At the same time, Droool also enables you to visualize the latest pictures by using RSS feeds. After the initial setup, you can browse the images in Feed mode, download specific pictures with a simple click, and switch to the Library view and organize the photos into different groups.

Within the Droool Library mode, you can easily visualize all the pictures downloaded from your accounts, organize them in different categories by using drag and drop movements, or assign tags via the contextual menu.

Moreover, you can add your on ratings, or decide to share specific photos again by using a different account. Since you can also decide to index local folders, Droool represents a simple solution for sharing images with others without having to actually access your social accounts.

Droool is able to index local folders, but also online image libraries hosted by various social media accounts: this way, you get to browse your entire photos collection within a single app.

The Droool utility allows you to organize the images into albums, gives you the possibility to add ratings or tags, but also includes seamless sharing capabilities.
