Image Resizer is a slim and self-explanatory OS X application that enables you to quickly resize pictures in just a few clicks. It supports a variety of image formats as input and can process multiple files at the same time.
The application comes with a very simple drag-and-drop interface and an option to choose the desired image dimensions in pixels. You can select to maintain the same image aspect ratio in the resized pictures. However, some other resizing options would be welcome.
Image Resizer can be operated in 2 modes: single or batch conversion. In the second mode, you can view a list of images you have added, choose the length and width dimensions or resize by changing the scale / ratio. The great thing is that the resizing process is extremely fast.
The utility supports a wide assortment of image formats, including HDR, FAX, PSD, PICT, PDF, AI, XBM, RAW, RAD and, of course, the widespread JPEG, PNG, GIF, JPEG 2000 and BMP.
In a nutshell, Image Resizer is certainly not the best or most complex picture resizer on the market, but it supports batch conversion, it does the job very quickly and offer support for numerous picture formats.
