Photo editing can be tedious work, especially when you have to deal with an extensive image collection. Luminar is a processing solution that can automate the procedure but also delivers full control over the editing tools.

Luminar offers you the possibility to work with a single image at a time while integrating batch processing capabilities. In both cases, you need to load the pictures (including RAW images) you want to process and then select the preset you want to apply.

The images processed in batch mode can be exported to a format compatible for sharing via email or to web JPEG, you get to adjust the color profile and the output quality, apply resizing rules or rename the file.

However, the Luminar batch mode deals with the image processing only with the help of predefined presets: just navigate to the appropriate category and select one of the available options (note that you get the option to save your own presets).

The full power of the Luminar application unleashes when working with a single image at a time: within the canvas area, you get to preview both the original and the output, while all the processing tools are organized into tabs on the right side of the window.

Luminar offers you the possibility to work with multiple layers, add image filters to adjust the color temperature, tone, saturation, structure, and so on.

You can create freehand or radial masks, apply gradients, resize the image, clone and stamp objects, remove objects, add denoising effects, or crop the image.

Luminar aims to be a solution for people that need professional level editing results without wanting to take the time to adjust each detail manually. The editor comes with a collection of built-in presets, allows you to create custom effects, and can even batch process image files.
