Analog Efex Pro For Mac

Traditional analog cameras can give an artistic look to any photo, but the equipment can prove to be hard to find, and time consuming to deal with.

Analog Efex Pro is a Mac app that eliminates these issues by enabling to to experiment with vintage camera effects from the comfort of your desktop.

Analog Efex Pro can work as a standalone application, but cannot be installed on its own: since it is included in the Nik Collection, you must download, install and buy the entire software collection.

For your convenience, the Nik Collection software package includes both installer and removal utilities, so all you have to do is follow the on screen instructions. You will find Analog Efex Pro in the Nik Collection folder that will be generated in the Applications directory.

To get started, you must import the image you want to process by dragging and dropping it on top of the Analog Efex Pro Dock icon. The photo will be displayed in the canvas area, and you get to preview both the source image and the output result.

Analog Efex Pro comes with 9 classic camera presets and you have the option to adjust various image parameters, such as the brightness / contrast / saturation level, the type of dirt and scratches that will be simulated, the film type, or the lens vignette pattern.

Analog Efex Pro offers you the possibility to replicate the style given to photos by classic, analog cameras: the app includes 9 built in presets, but you also have the possibility to create custom ones, or to import recipes created by your friends.
