Ticket to Ride is an accurate digital adaptation of Days of Wonder’s popular board game with the same name.

Moreover, Ticket to Ride is a train adventure game set in the United States at the turn of the 20th century. Also, the game can be played both in solo and online mode.

The objective of the game is to claim as many routes between cities and complete the missions you get from the tickets you’ve drawn.

At the end of the game, the player with the highest number of points is declared the winner. Points are scored by having the longest continuous set of trains on the map, connecting two cities listed on a ticket with trains of your color, and by claiming routes between two connected cities.

You can also lose points if you didn’t complete a mission from one of your tickets, i.e failing to connect two adjacent cities.

The main window of the game is divided into four different areas: the draw section, map area, message and scoring section, as well as the area which displays your Tickets and Train cards.

Ticket to Ride is easy to learn, but hard to master. You can learn it in just 5 minutes but becoming an expert could take months of play time.

The gameplay consists of several stages. First of all, each player gets 3 tickets as well as 4 train cards at the beginning of the game.

Moreover, you also get 45 trains of one of the following colors: yellow, blue, black or red. The different colors have no effect on the game and only help distinguish between players.

Another element in the gameplay is the game turn in which you can do only one of three things: draw train cards, claim a route or draw new tickets.
