Name Maker is a random name generator written specifically for Mac OS X. You can use it to create names for anything you like, but it is especially useful for DnD style characters.

Name Maker currently features name generation through a rule-file. Other methods of name creation are planned for the future.

Name maker is unlike many random name generators. It does not use a names database to choose its names. Nor does it pick random characters and put them together. Instead, it will use what are called "rule files" that allow it to construct a random, yet somewhat controlled name.
