System Shock was one of the hit titles in the 1990's, so the development teams decided to create a new series based on it, named Bioshock. Taking you to Rapture, an underwater city, it quickly became a cult hit.
BioShock Infinite is a game that will place you in the shoes of a cavalry veteran that visits the flying city of Columbia. Here, he will rescue Elizabeth, a mysterious girl that was imprisoned.
The BioShock Infinite release, just like the other ones in the series, provides you with a large arsenal of weapons and abilities that you can use in order to defeat your opponents. Your objective is to try and uncover the dark secrets of the city, as well as explore it in search for clues and answers to your questions.
The graphics in BioShock Infinite are quite astonishing and make it very easy and straightforward to immerse yourself into the story. BioShock Infinite places a lot of emphasis on graphical realism so much so that you'll feel just like in a real flying town. Moreover, the fact that you can use the skyline for exploring the city is very helpful, but it's also a good way to explore the vast, beautiful city of Columbia.
BioShock Infinite also features a top notch soundtrack which, together with mesmerizing sound effects, makes it an experience that you don't want to miss. Due to its high quality video and audio effects, BioShock Infinite needs a very powerful Mac, with a minimum of 4GB of RAM, a 2.2 GHz CPU and a Radeon 3870/Geforce 640M.
The Burial at Sea and Clash in the Clouds downloadable content can be downloaded for 14.99$ and 4.99$ respectively. These will bring new adventures, weapons and abilities that you can enjoy with your friends.
In conclusion, BioShock Infinite brings a stellar experience that will keep you playing for hours and hours. Exploring the flying city of Columbia is just awesome and using your abilities for manipulating time and space will give you a clear advantage in battle. BioShock Infinite is a very good game, so give it a try, if you want an action packed experience.
