ATLauncher is a cross-platform Minecraft launcher that makes it as easy as possible for you to download and install mods.

From the start it must be said that ATLauncher’s best part is the fact that it comes with support for almost all types of Minecraft mods, even the ones for which it doesn’t have distribution permission.

In this case, ATLauncher acts as an intermediary and takes you to the mods official website, so you can easily download it into the launcher’s downloads folder and effortlessly install it.

What’s more, ATLauncher enables you to install mods more than once (multiple instances), enables you to add the time spend playing the packs to the leaderboards, as well as to backup your Minecraft saved games.

In order to get started with ATLauncher, you must first go through a simple setup process. Firstly, you must copy the ATLauncher app into your Application folder, then open System Preferences, go to Security and Privacy, and, within the General tab, you must check the “Allow applications downloaded from: Anywhere” option.

Once this is done, ATLauncher will open via a console, and you will have to provide the launcher with your Minecraft credentials - username and password.

From now onwards, new packs can be easily be downloaded and installed from the “Packs” tab by clicking the “New Instances” button (packs for which the app doesn’t have permission will be downloaded via your default browser).

After the downloading and installing process has come to an end, new packs can be played within the “Instances” menu.
