9mm for Mac
9mm is an action-packed game for Mac OS X from the popular game development company, Gameloft. The game combines an intriguing storyline that involves a revenge plot, intense encounters, big guns and hip-hop music.
The story goes like this: you play the role of John "Loose" Kannon, a corrupt cop that has killed the brother of a drug cartel leader in a successful attempt to steal a truckload of money from them. When the news reaches the ears of the drug lord, he plots an elaborate revenge.
As soon as you find out the motive behind the extreme violence in the game, they must do whatever it takes to stay alive. If you do not take down your enemies first, they will. On the course of 12 different levels, you will encounter dangerous foes and destructible environments.
9mm is filled with a lot of… gun action, shooting in slow-motion and entertaining stunts. What’s more, a full arsenal of guns can be used: shotguns, grenade launchers, pistols, submachine guns and other explosive stuff.
Furthermore, in order for you to catch your nemesis, the shady drug leader, you will use your detective skills to hunt down informants, gang leader and other criminals. In your missions, you chase them on city streets across 4 different maps.
Another interesting aspect of the game is the soundtrack which consists mostly of rap / hip-hop songs from popular artists like Apathy, Beanie Sigel and Freeway & Jake One (who actually do an in-game appearance).
All things considered, 9mm is an action game that has the potential to keep you glued to the screen the entire time you play it. Although the campaign is rather short, the combat system and storyline are well designed and entertaining.
