Veenix TypeWise is a feature-rich and well-designed Mac OS X application for professional graphic art design that allows you to view and manage fonts and characters. It comes with various innovative features for easier font management and classification.

The application supports both installed and uninstalled fonts (PostScript, TrueType, OpenType and Apple DFont) and is able to automatically scan for your installed fonts. In the main window, you can browse your fonts from a list and view how they look like in a repertoire, sample line, sample line plus body copy, as well as to browse character sets.

Using the versatile GlyphLogicEngine technology, Veenix TypeWise can analyze font attributes and categorize them into 16 groups: condensed and narrow fonts, expanded and wide fonts, moonspaced fonts, serif and flare fonts, sans serif fonts, text fonts, picture fonts and more.

Moreover, you can create up to 6 different custom font categories where you can store selected fonts. Veenix TypeWise also provides a smart “Quick Mix!” feature that can find display similar fonts from the ones you have added in the app.

The application comes with other handy functions, such as activating uninstalled fonts, revealing fonts in the Finder, turning energy on / off, deleting fonts, searching fonts, changing font color and size plus font background, flushing font database and auto-activating selected fonts.
