FontBook is a Mac OS X application that enables you to easily preview and print character maps, type books as well as ASCII charts.

Using FontBook, you can create a complete picture of all your fonts. You can browse your entire font library and print a customized book of typefaces samples or just print samples of selected fonts.

FontBook provides you with type samples for graphic design, character maps for editing, ASCII codes for HTML development and type books for system admins.

You will be able to preview all your installed fonts in different sizes by accessing the Fonts menu. You can also change the keyboard type via the Keyboard menu.

Furthermore, the Layout menu allows you to pick one of the various layouts such as reference, font sizes, font styles, ASCII tables, overview, long text, design and many more.

The mail merge function allows you to quickly print complete folders of uninstalled fonts. The Preferences menu offers a number of formatting and visual options that you can use to create print-ready samples and information about your fonts.
