UnkleBill 1.0

UnkleBill is a unique, easy to use, multiplatform financial application that helps you to monitor your personal accounting.


With UnkleBill you'll manage one o more accounts with the mechanism of the double entry accounting.

UnkleBill is written in the Java programming language and can be run on Mac OS X, Windows and Linux.

Here are some key features of "UnkleBill":

· UnkleBill permits you to create one or more users protected with passwords in case that this software is used by more people on the same machine.
· In the home tab you can modify your profile with additional informations like: default currency, auto-login and language (not yet implemented, italian language is coming soon).
· You can create, modify or cancel personal accounts and set a starting budget.
· In the main screen you can watch in every moments the total amounts of your accounts.
· In the payments tab you can manage all transactions grouped by month. In particular you can add, modify or delete entrances/exits and also manage movements between accounts with the mechanism of the double entry acounting.
· For each month you can see the amount of current account and the amounts of entrances/exits, movements and the total balance of the month.
· You can also create a pdf report of the month.
· All transactions can be tagged with labels, and you can manage this labels in the home tab.
· In the summary tab you can choose to watch the summary of the year or of the month and print it by creating pdf reports.
